THE ROOK

Apparently I am not a Fantasy lover though I am crazy about Sci-Fi and Spec. This very long book begged to be put down, but I persevered as I just about never abandon a book midstream. My husband too was so enamored of the story that I was influenced to continue till the bitter end.

I found the plot, the characters, the world needlessly complicated and difficult to keep track of. Obviously, the author is skilled at what he does, but I was unswayed. Throughout I wa yearning for a simple story, some piece of women's fiction perhaps, that I could relate to and appreciate.

This book is best suited for the Dungeon and Dragons crowd. No I will not be reading Book @ Stiletto
