Book Report: INVISIBLE CITY by Julia Dahl NOT SO INVISIBLE
great pacing – good voice for main character
too many Trib characters – can’t figure out who’s who
different take on whodunits – we don’t really get involved in figuring out the killer. somewhat of a twist when we learn.
set up for book #2 when she must meet her mother
great insight into crime scene investigation, journalist stringers
insights into haredis? Not really. Been covered before in “Unorthodox” for example.
PROBLEM: Rifka doesn’t worry about herself or her other children after X murders her baby daughter?! Helps her cover it up? C’mon!
