Killing the Sacred Deer

I had to see this movie even though it appeared to go straight to On Demand TV. Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell. Same director as Lobster, a film I loved last year that cost me a few friendships. LOL. Well. . .notice my hesitation. The film is engrossing but exceedingly weird. Kind of a modern day Sophie's Choice. Throw in a little supernatural stuff. And mix.

What's with the stilted emotionless dialog? Kinky sex? This is a horror film? I guess so.

I have the feeling I'll like it more the further I get away from the actual viewing.
